There can only be one victor…
He vows to personally deal with her…
When Master Nathaniel Stratton catches Alani Dane, a
professional submissive, yawning during a scene with one of his club’s most
prestigious members, he vows to personally deal with her.
In order to claim her…
Nathaniel works to shatter the emotional barriers she’s
erected to keep her heart safe and takes the biggest gamble of his life to
claim her for his own.
But she’s no man’s submissive…
He alternately thrills and terrifies Alani. Even though she
craves the intense release that subspace brings, at heart, she’s no man’s
submissive. In this intense battle of wills, dominance and submission, love and
commitment, he’s determined to tear down the walls around her heart.
Four years ago I read Sierra Cartwright's In the Zone and I loved it. It was the first book I had read by Sierra Cartrwright and it made her one of my go to authors. Shock Wave is the same book, only it's bigger and better.
Shock Wave is the story of Master Nathaniel and professional submissive Alani. Both are experienced in the scene but Alani is in serious need of a Master. Nathaniel takes her on. He's intense, demanding, and so dominating. But he's so very sexy. Alani works as a submissive, but she's never really expereienced the submissive mentality. With Nathaniel that changes.
I love both Nathaniel and Alani and I loved them together. They were hot and steamy with all the BDSM one could want. I can't wait for more in the Impulse series.
I give Shock Wave 4.5 STARS!
