Fall Into Me by K.M. Scott - Promo/Spotlight Tour 12/2-12/14.

The second book in the Heart of Stone series continues the sensual and emotional story of Tristan and Nina that began in Crash Into Me...

Wealthier and more powerful than most men his age, Tristan Stone merely has to give voice to his desires and whatever he wants is his. Money has given him the ability to say nothing and no one is beyond his reach.

Except for Nina. Stripped of her memory after an accident, she doesn't remember the man who loves her. Now he must find a way to show her why she fell in love with him, but the past is always just a step behind, threatening to take her away forever.

Unsure of everything about the past four years, Nina believes that Tristan loves her. But will the secrets he holds tear them apart just when she needs him most?

I didn't want to hold back anymore. I wanted her to be mine again, body and soul. Cradling the back of her head, I drew her mouth toward mine and kissed her with all the desire I'd kept bottled up for all those weeks. Her lips were soft against mine but as eager and passionate as I slid my tongue into her mouth to find hers. When she sighed into my mouth, I couldn't wait anymore. My hands clawed at the zipper down the back of her dress, but it got stuck an inch from the top. Aching to be inside her, I tore the two halves of the dress apart, ruining the zipper and the dress.

"Tristan, my dress!" she cried as I pulled it from her body.

"I don't care. I'll buy you ten dresses just like it," I panted as I unhooked her bra and slid the first strap over her shoulder. "Same thing with the bra. And if these panties don't come off easy, I'm going to rip through them too."

Nina's fingers tore through my shirt buttons until it hung open, and I quickly shrugged out of it. She was as desperate as I was to be out of those damn clothes. In seconds, she had my belt off and my pants and boxer briefs off my legs, and I had her pushed up against the wall. As I lifted her off the ground to wrap her legs around my waist, I pressed my forehead to hers and rasped, "I hope you weren't expecting something slow and gentle. I can give you that, but tonight I don't want to wait. I need to be inside you, Nina."

Moaning, she pulled me close, but just then I remembered her sore ribs. Pulling back, I said, "I forgot about what the doctor said. Maybe we should go easy this time."

She dug her heels into my lower back and pulled my mouth to hers in a deep kiss. Her voice husky, she groaned, "Please, Tristan. I'm not a china doll. I'll tell you if something hurts."

I gently slid just the head of my cock into her, still worried I might hurt her if I didn't take it slow. My body was in agony wanting to bury myself inside her, but I didn't want to risk bruising those already sore ribs. I could give her gentle, even if every part of me wanted much more. Nina pushed her palms against my chest and held me away from her. Worried I'd already screwed this up, I opened my mouth to apologize but she touched her finger to my lips to stop me.

"Don't make me wait. I don't want gentle now. I want you...all of you." Her fingers pressed into the back of my neck as I plunged balls deep into her wet and willing cunt. Nothing in the entire world ever felt better than that moment when our bodies joined together as one again.

Her body was hot and enveloped me, taking my body to places I thought only existed in my imagination.

Laura Kaye - HARD AS IT GETS - Release Day Blog Blitz and Review!

Tall, dark, and lethal...Trouble just walked into Nicholas Rixey's tattoo parlor. Becca Merritt is warm, sexy, wholesome — pure temptation to a very jaded Nick. He's left his military life behind to become co-owner of Hard Ink Tattoo, but Becca is his ex-commander's daughter. Loyalty won't let him turn her away. Lust has plenty to do with it too.

With her brother presumed kidnapped, Becca needs Nick. She just wasn't expecting to want him so much. As their investigation turns into all-out war with an organized crime ring, only Nick can protect her. And only Becca can heal the scars no one else sees.

Desire is the easy part. Love is as hard as it gets. Good thing Nick is always up for a challenge...

About Laura Kaye

Laura Kaye
New York Times and USA TODAY bestseller Laura Kaye is the author of over a dozen books in contemporary and paranormal romance. Laura grew up amidst family lore involving angels, ghosts, and evil-eye curses, cementing her life-long fascination with storytelling and the supernatural. Laura lives in Maryland with her husband, two daughters, and cute-but-bad dog, and appreciates her view of the Chesapeake Bay every day.

You really can't go wrong with a book by Laura Kaye. I've read almost every one of her books and this one reminded why. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Hard as It Gets. The only complaint I have is that I have to wait for the next book in the series.

Nick Rixey is so incredibly sexy; he makes people fall in love with him (I know I did). He's a battle-scarred former soldier. What's not to love? Becca is perfect for him. She might seem like an innocent little goody-good (and she is in many ways), but she has more guts than most people and is very strong in her own way.

I'm not normally the tattoo type, but Nick Rixey makes me think twice about that (especially if he was the one doing the tattoo).

One of the best things about Hard as It Gets is that it's not just a romance novel. There is a real story there, a mystery of sorts, and it keeps you engrossed the whole way through. While Nick and Becca are falling in love, Nick is protecting Becca and helping to find her kidnapped brother. His former team is there with him, and even though they have their issues, they all pull together as one to help.

I highly recommend Hard as It Gets and give it 5 stars.

My Today
My Way Series, Book Two
By: HJ Bellus

Lacey’s Story…

Covering up pain is easy. It’s keeping it tucked away that’s hard. I’ve always needed the cover of tattoos to hide the nasty past that leached its way into me, tainting me beneath my skin. Not the shiny, trendy tats, but the ugly broken kind, meant to keep the world at bay. If they weren’t enough, then my piercings, foul mouth and crazy hair usually did the trick. Life had taught me to never follow the rules, because when you do, you get burned.

That philosophy served its purpose, until I met someone who turned my life upside down. Milly, the little hoochie, stormed into my life and changed everything with her undying faith in me, her love and her shitty coffee concoctions. I found a family in Milly, and her sexy farm boy, Cree. She accepted me without hesitation, and never ran from the dark and dangerous secrets that I harbored. My new family loved me unconditionally, with their showers of sprinkles and impromptu dance parties.

My life was perfectly imperfect until Tripp and his crazy-ass ideas of princesses. Our relationship is what most would describe as fuel meeting fire. We were both hell bent on burning each other to the ground. Tripp, fresh out of rehab, moved in with Milly and Cree to try and make a new life for himself. Tripp, the sexy as hell, charismatic beast, soon became one of my best friends. We shared our love of ice cream and tattoos as we blazed our own path that could only lead to a beautiful train wreck. The only question left is, will we set the countryside ablaze with our hot tempers and foul mouths, or will we paint our own happy ending filled with all the gushy shit normal people crave?

“How weird of a couple we are.  I’m short and plump, you are a tall, sexy Beast.  We are both way beyond repair.”

“I think it’s pretty damn sexy, if you ask me.”

“Really?  Of course you would…you are a typical horn dog.”

“Lacey, I really like you.  There is something about you that makes me want to have you all to myself.”

“You better only see me or I’d have to cut a bitch.”

My Now & Forever
My Way Series, Book One

Whose parents abandon them in a trashy trailer when they are five years old? Oh Yeah! Mine do!

Hey Hoochies! I'm Milly, and I am tired of taking kicks to the gut. A broken family, an asshole husband and the loss of loved ones have left me crying Uncle, and declaring a serious case of the Fuck-Its!

I had my heart broken, stomped on and shattered before I ever started on my journey to find my little piece of happiness. With a bucket list, a '66 Ford and wild dreams, I set out on an adventure that changed my life forever. Follow me on my journey that resurrected my inner badass.

I found my soul sista from another mista, and opened my dream shop along the way. Just when I gave up on finding true love, a pirate and a princess swept me off my ever lovin' feet and filled my world with sprinkles, mac n’ cheese and the courage to live again. They forced my fragile heart to trust and love without fear.

Truth is, nobody’s past stays hidden forever. It’s an invisible monster waiting to attack and destroy. It has the capability to ruin everything you’ve worked to set right. All it takes is one final blow to the gut to end everything.

While Lacey and Tripp are not the typical characters I read about and I could in no way relate to much of their drama, I found myself pulling for them and really enjoying My Way.  I read the book in one sitting.  Both characters are severely damaged.  Tripp is a recovering drug addict and Lacey has many issues left over from a very bad childhood.  On the outside both characters seem overly confident.  Tripp is a former baseball player and Lacey is a tattoed hairdresser who seems to not have a care in the world about what anyone thinks, but as is usually the case, those that seem the strongest are sometimes the weakest.  Neither Lacey nor Tripp is strong enough to survive on their own, but when they join together they're love pulls them through and makes them stronger.

This book is in the New Adult genre and I recommend it to all "New Adults" - 20 something readers.  The story flows nicely and pulls you in.

I give My Way 3.5 - 4.0 stars!
