His Esclava is definitely a dark and erotic. It is a romance, but the romance is not the primary focus. His Esclava is the story of Chloe. Chloe signs on to be a sex slave to billionaire Eduardo for a five year period. As soon as she arrives at Eduardo's home she is imprisoned. She is humiliated, shared, beaten and more. Chloe wants all this until Mateo comes into the picture.

If you like dark erotica this book will be right up your alley. The scenes are intense and highly erotic. The characters are a bit more complex. The readers meet Chloe and right away feel what she feels. Eduardo seems sexy and dominant, but then we realize he's evil. He's not what he pretends to be and he lured Chloe to his home under false pretenses. But Mateo is all that Eduardo is not. He's dominant, sexy, and kind.

I would have liked more of the story on Mateo and Chloe, but other than that this book was what I had hoped. I give His Esclava FOUR STARS!
