MINE by STACEY KENNEDY - #BLOGTOUR #BOOKREVIEW #GIVEAWAY

Title: Mine
Series: Club Sin #7
Author: Stacey Kennedy
Release Date: Oct 27, 2015
Publisher: Loveswept

Dmitri and Presley—the scorching-hot couple who started it all in Claimed—return to save Club Sin in the exhilarating new short novel from USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy.

Dmitri Pratt is living out his dream. Not only does he own the ultimate playground for the BDSM lifestyle, he’s found a special connection with his deliciously sexy sub, Presley Flynn, the woman who complements him in ways that go far beyond the bedroom. But when an anonymous blackmailer threatens to expose the elite, high-profile members of Club Sin in a notorious tabloid, Dmitri’s perfect world spirals out of control.

Before she met Dmitri, Presley never imagined she would find a Master who could deliver on all her hottest fantasies. Dmitri’s love and his sensual artistry surprise her every day, until he suddenly turns distant and cold. For the first time, Presley wonders where Dmitri’s heart truly lies: with her, or with Club Sin. As the life they’ve built together begins to crumble, Presley can only trust that Dmitri has what it takes—to defend what’s his, and win back the woman he cannot live without.

Mine is intended for mature audiences.

I've read all of the Club Sin books and several other Stacey Kennedy books.  Stacey Kennedy was one of the first authors I discovered back when I started reading this genre.  I've never yet been disappointed.  Mine is a little bit different from some of the other Club Sin books.  In book one,  Claimed, we met Dmitri and Presley.  We met the other masters, but Claimed was their story.

Dmitri and Presley have been in each subsequent book.  They are a strong couple and it seems like nothing can ever happen to break them apart.

Mine is the final book in the Club Sin series.  It wraps up the series, but it also goes back to Dmiti and Presley.  Something does happen to hurt Dmitri and Presley's relationship.  Club Sin is threatened.  Dmitri's whole life had been the club before Presley, and now he wants to save and protect.

Unfortunately Dmitri's way of protecting is very close mouthed and Presley gets very hurt by him.

I feel like I already knew Dmitri and Presley, but Mine adds a whole new dimension to Dmitri.  Presley's character was already fairly developed.  She's become stronger and more confident over the years and books, but Dmitri was the one who really made this book.  He is a strong, very dominant, man.  He likes to be in charge.  He likes to protect.  In Mine we see him change.  He's no less dominant, but he learns priorities.  He becomes even more lovable and real.  He's not perfect and he accepts his mistakes and apologizes for them.  I absolutely loved Dmitri in Mine.

I'm sad to see this series end, but Stacey Kennedy is going to have a spin off series.  So I'll be anxiously awaiting it.  I give Mine FOUR STARS!

COMMANDED by Stacey Kennedy - #BOOKREVIEW #BLOGTOUR #GIVEAWAY @Stacey_Kennedy @TastyBookTours

Title: Commanded
Series: Club Sin #6
Author: Stacey Kennedy
Publisher: Loveswept
Release Date: July 7, 2015

Club Sin comes alive once again in this decadent new romance from USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy, perfect for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey.

A dedicated cop, Sawyer Quinn blows off steam by immersing himself in his role as a Master at the hottest club in Las Vegas. But when Sawyer goes after the perp who brutally beat his sister, he teams up with Chloe Nash, a sexy private investigator who awakens a sweet new need: to keep her to himself, away from the dungeon of Club Sin. Chloe is beautiful, smart, and too innocent for the BDSM lifestyle. Sawyer’s never wanted a woman like this before. Is her love worth swearing off the one thing that keeps him sane?

There’s something different about Sawyer: a commanding strength that pulls Chloe into a vortex of heady desire. But when she learns about his double life as a Dom, she’s shocked—and afraid she could never complete him. Then he saves her life, and just like that, Chloe knows she will be able to give him anything he desires. She is his—wherever and however he wants to take her.

“Come here,” she said. “I found something.”
“Whatcha got?” Sawyer sat next to her, draping his arm across the back of the couch.
He smelled like nature, Chloe thought—woodsy and fresh. And so very masculine. She cleared her throat. “I take it this is Travis’s email address.” Sawyer’s thick, strong leg pressed against her slender one, carrying warmth into her veins. “It’s not a great lead, but at least it’s something.”
“At this point, anything is good.” Sawyer pulled out his phone and typed the email address into his notepad. “I don’t suppose you know how to break passwords?”
“I’m not that good.” She smiled, shutting the laptop. “But I do have a friend who might be able to help.”
One brow rose. “A friend?”
“His name is Shane. He’s a computer whiz I met in high school.” She rose, holding the laptop to her chest. “He does some freelance work for Porter on difficult cases.”
Sawyer hesitated, brows pinched together. “The force has its own computer team. I should take it there.”
“Yes, I’m sure that makes sense in your cop brain. But what if we have to dig deeper than just breaking a password? Will your people on the force do that, or do they have to get warrants and such? Using my guy saves time.”
His hesitation lasted a little longer this time, the conflict clear on his face. He finally bobbed his head, resolved. “We’ll do this your way for now.” He lifted his hand to her arm in an appreciative touch, but the feel of his strong fingers on her bare skin was like an arrow of desire hitting her straight between her thighs.
He’d never touched her before. That, she now realized, had been a good thing. Under the heat of his fingers, her mind went blank. Her only focus was the burning of his touch. Every inch of her hummed in a blaze of need, clenching her sex. She needed space from all his intensity, but she couldn’t find the strength to force her feet to move.
She dared herself to look up into his shadowy eyes. His curious gaze moved from his hand to her face; then he shifted his fingers toward her chin. Chloe melted as she became aware of his hands on her face—the soft, tempting strokes of his fingers as they caressed her jaw.
He tipped her head up, studying her in a way no man had ever done. He really looked at her—straight into the center of her being. As if, for the first time in her life, she was being seen. Her soul felt naked under his gaze. The slight jump in her heart rate matched the nerves rattling through her.
All the same, her mind recoiled. She hastily reminded herself she’d just broken up with Josh. “Please don’t” was all she could manage.
The corner of Sawyer’s mouth curved. “I’m not stopping you from backing away from me. If you don’t want me close, move.”
He clearly didn’t intend to step away—she could tell from his knowing smile. She couldn’t, either. My God, she wanted him. Right now. Right in his little sister’s condo. But that little voice in her head, though it was growing weaker by the moment, reminded her that strong and smart women didn’t jump into bed with someone the day after breaking up with a long-term boyfriend.
The satisfaction in his eyes deepened when she remained still. “There’s something here,” he murmured in a voice as soft as silk. “I feel it. You feel it. Why ignore it?”
“I broke up with Josh yesterday,” she reminded him.
“So you keep telling me.” Frustration appeared in his eyes. “Since you seem so determined to keep talking about your ex, then tell me, why did you break up?”
Her cheeks burned with embarrassment. There was no way she was going to tell him.
His eyes began to twinkle. “Because of me? Because of this peculiar-but-ever-so-interesting connection between us?”
She swallowed the lump in her throat. “I’ve never . . .”
“Felt something so intense? So unexplainable? So tempting? Neither have I.”
Then he kissed her, and she couldn’t remember the reason she didn’t want him kissing her. She only wanted him kissing her.
He moved his hands to caress her shoulders, holding her in place as his tongue invaded her mouth. He pressed his body against hers, as if daring her not to realize how incredible it felt to have his body right up against hers. He set every inch of her on fire.
Jesus. H. Christ, did she realize it.
And she wanted more.
Many minutes later, when he stopped kissing her, they were both breathless. His eyes were so full of lust it was mind-blowing. He dragged his thumb across her bottom lip. “I’ve waited thirty-three years to find this sort of real connection that defies logic. I won’t ignore that, Chloe. I can’t.” She couldn’t look away from his mouth. God, she wanted more of that. “Don’t ask me to,” he added, “because you won’t like my answer.”
She forced her eyes up to his. “I’ve been single for a day,” she reminded him again. Dammit! “I can’t be with you, no matter how fun that sounds. It wouldn’t feel right. I need time.”
“Fair argument. But I don’t care how long you’ve been single. I only care that you are.” As if he hadn’t rocked her fucking world, he left her standing there as he walked toward the door. “Come on. We need to get moving.”
She blinked, pulling her mind from the gutter and placing it back on the investigation. Her emotions were in a whirl; if there were such a thing as a female case of blue balls, she had ’em.

Stacey Kennedy is the USA Today bestselling author of the Club Sin series. Growing up, Stacey’s mind wandered the path less traveled, and that path most often led to love. She has always broken rules and she continues to feed off emotion—always staying true to her heart. Those traits are now the bones of her stories. She lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, who puts any of the heroes in her books to shame, and their two young children. If she’s not on Mom duty or plugging away at a new story, you’ll find Stacey camping in the summer, hibernating in the winter, and obsessing over Penny Dreadful, Game of Thrones, and Sons of Anarchy.

Commanded is the story of Sawyer (a Club Sin Master) and Chloe. While this is the sixth Club Sin book (and I've read all) I believe this could be read as a standalone. If, however, you've read the other books you'll probably remember Sawyer (and maybe Chloe).

Sawyer's sister is brutally beaten by her boyfriend and Sawyer seeks the help of a PI to catch him. Rather than going with Porter, Sawyer wants Chloe. Sparks had been flying between the two and she is very eager to work with Sawyer.

Chloe had been in a dead end relationship for years. She loved her boyfriend but there was no passion. Meeting Sawyer had made her realize that her relationship was going nowhere.

But she's a little reluctant to jump right back into another relationship. Sawyer, however, knows what he wants and admits freely that he's after Chloe.

Sawyer is very hot and sexy. He's dominant and in control. He goes for what he wants. Chloe has always been vanilla, but Sawyer recognizes the submissive in her. He wants to be the one to introduce her to BDSM. He wants to do it his way with no interference. When his friend Porter (and Porter's sub Kenzie) takes Chloe to a BDSM club, Sawyer is livid.

Although this book didn't really take place in Club Sin the Club Sin Masters and subs are all there. They prove that they care deeply for each other and are all a family.

Overall this is a great addition to the Club Sin books and I anxiously await more. I give Commanded 4 stars!

TAMED by Stacey Kennedy - #BLOGTOUR, #BOOKREVIEW #GIVEAWAY @Stacey_Kennedy @TastyBookTours

Title: Tamed
Series: Club Sin # 5
Author: Stacey Kennedy
Release Date:  March 10, 2015
Publisher: Loveswept

USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy returns to the tantalizing world of Club Sin in an enticing novel of control and surrender.

Porter Marshall has nearly achieved his goal of becoming a Club Sin Master, but his new sub poses a much bigger challenge than he anticipated. Despite their mutual attraction and red-hot dungeon sessions, Kenzie Hart plays her own games. Her bratty, you-can’t-break-me attitude masks terrible personal hurt—pain that only the exquisite touch of a skilled Dom can release. But when Porter suggests taking their connection to the outside world, Kenzie denies him . . . which only makes him want her more.

Kenzie can’t ignore the raw, fierce bond she has with Porter. But she can’t give in to his dangerous demands, either. Is the passion they share real, or is he using her to solidify his status at Club Sin? And yet, who else can she trust with the shattering secrets she holds within? As Porter expertly brings her to the point of no return, Kenzie surrenders her body—and, piece by piece, her heart.

Tamed is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Four weeks. Twenty-eight days. Six hundred and seventy-two hours.

That’s how long Porter had to get inside Kenzie’s mind and soul. Personally, he had always liked her, even when he had known her from Chains back in the day. Her fun personality was infectious, and she never seemed to take life too seriously.

Though he also remembered Kenzie when she was younger, in her early twenties, he never had any interest in playing with her before now. He’d been in a relationship back then and hadn’t looked to other submissives for play. Her behavior was bratty even back then, which he had no interest in dealing with when he was younger. He had preferred well-behaved submissives. Now, Porter’s being thirty-five, his cock twitched to play with this submissive, eager to show her who’s in charge.

The question remained heavy on his mind: Had he excelled in the dynamics of Dominance and submission enough to gain the compliance of the sassiest submissive? Perhaps it was his manhood talking, but he quite liked the idea of going up against the strongest sub he’d ever known. It made the moment a little more playful, and definitely more exciting.

Even so, after one conversation with her, he’d assumed breaking down the walls she kept up against others wouldn’t be an easy task. Kenzie’s game was to throw everyone else off theirs, and she was a pro—which compelled him to understand why. To find out what made her act the way she did. More important, to be the one Dom whom she couldn’t throw off.

Staring into her pretty light hazel eyes that were more green than brown, he didn’t know why she made life difficult for Doms; he guessed it was just her nature. When he had seen her play with others, she was a submissive, of that he was sure. Yet at times the things she said and did would make one believe she’d be better off as a Dominatrix or a switch.

While he wanted to explore earning her submission, he also reminded himself that Club Sin members needed to witness his skill as a Dom. The task of showing Dmitri, the Club Sin Masters, and the other members that he deserved the title of Club Sin Master was hanging over him.

He’d known all the Club Sin Masters since they entered the lifestyle around the same time and were playing at Chains. Porter had as much experience as Dmitri, and being on uneven ground with them in Club Sin wasn’t a position he preferred.

Recognition. Respect. Pride. They mattered to him.

I' discovered Stacey Kennedy soon after I discovered erotic romances.  I've read all of her Club Sin books and most of her other books too.  This is the first time I was offered a chance to review one of her books and I am thrilled.  I read quite a few BDSM romances and Stacey Kennedy's Club Sin  books are among my favorites.  I feel like you really get to know her characters.  They stay with you.
Tamed is the story of the Club Sin brat, Kenzie.  In order to achieve the status of Club Sin Master, Porter agrees to take Kenzie on as his sub for a month.  None of the other Doms have ever really been able to break through Kenzie's walls.  She has her reasons for acting out and Porter is the only one to see through the act.

I love Porter and Kenzie, both alone, and together.  He is a typical alpha male - all strong and dominant (he is a Dom after all), but he is also very caring.  He demands and commands obedience.  From the very beginning we can see that when Porter actually does break through with Kenzie, that they will have a powerful bond.  She doesn't give her trust to just anyone, and when she does, can she only do it for a month?  I'll let you figure that one out when you read the book.

Anyone looking for a great BDSM series and a great book should pick up this book.  I loved Tamed and give it FIVE STARS!!!!
