Dirty Sexy Cuffed is the third in the Dirty Sexy series by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde.  It's the story of the youngest of the three Kincaid brothers, Levi, and Sarah.  Levi is a very sexy police officer.  He meets Sarah at a convenience store where she is working.  He's immediately smitten and asks her out several times.  Sarah is very reluctant and declines constantly.  She is very reserved.  When the convenience store is robbed and Levi takes a bullet for Sarah she finally consents to go out with him.  What is meant to be a one time, casual thing, quickly heats up.  

Both Levi and Sarah come from similar backgrounds.  Neither trusts easily.  But Levi has always had his brothers.  Sarah has had no one.  So even though the backgrounds are similar, they are still very different.  Levi eventually breaks through Sarah's reserves and learns her whole, sad story.  It's very touching.  He takes care of her and gets her back on her feet.  Although he is all alpha and dominant he cares and helps.  He nurtures Sarah and that makes him so much more special.  

If you can't already tell, I loved Levi.  He seems like a perfect gentlemen with a little bit of bad boy mixed in.  He also sounds so sexy and hot.  Sarah seems like one that people would pity, but she's so proud that you can't pity her.  You want to help her and you would also really like her.  The two together could not be more perfect.

Although I've read the other books in this series I think Dirty Sexy Cuffed could be read as a standalone.  The two brothers are mentioned, but their stories are not really told in Dirty Sexy Cuffed.  I think someone could easily jump into the series here.  Of course, you'll then pick up the other two books because you'll like this one so much.
