Synopsis
At
what point do you stop fighting the events that have long been
predetermined by the course of fate?
Cara
Savannah falls fast and falls hard. She always has. The problem is
the kind of guys she falls for. They aren't interested in anything
more than a one night stand. Finally fed up with the years of
heartache and lack of meaningful relationships, she vows to turn over
a new leaf. Cara is going to let love take a backseat and focus on
herself. Most importantly- no more tattooed bad boys. The question
is, how long can she manage to evade what fate has orchestrated for
her?
Abel
Mileski is every bit your typical bad boy on the exterior, but life’s
left him broken and jaded. After years of meaningless sex with girls
only seeing him for his good looks and tattoos, he sees no value
within himself. Ready for a change, he shuts down his desires and
immerses himself in his career. However, when fate intervenes, he is
completely unprepared. Meeting Cara ignites his desires. She’s not
fazed by his ink, and when he tries to charm her, he fails... Stunned
by her instant dislike of him, he is determined to find out why.
After
months of sexual tension, they make a decision that will forever
change their lives. Will that decision be what ultimately wrecks them
or brings them back together?

EXCERPT
“Drop
your towel, Cara,” he commands.
I look around my
room like he’s here. Unsure as to why I am even considering doing
this, I drop it. My breathing is quick, and he has my body tingling.
“Did you do it?”
“Mmm-hmm.”
“Good, now lie on
your bed.”
Again listening to
his commands, I walk to the bed and sit down. Lying backwards, I
stretch my naked body across the cool, white fabric.
I can hear his deep
breathing into the phone. “Close your eyes and listen to me. Take
your hands and caress your breasts. I want you to squeeze them just
how you want me to do it for you.” I keep my mouth closed to try
and muffle the noises wanting to escape me.
“With the tips of
yours fingers, pinch your nipples imagining that my body is lying on
top of yours. I’m going to take my mouth and wrap it around one of
your hard, pink nipples. I know they’re pink like your lips, Cara.”
I can’t stop
myself from moaning into the phone as I touch myself. It’s as
though he’s here with me.
“Good girl. Now
take your other hand and slide it down your body. I want you to
slowly explore every curve of yourself. Remember this is me doing
this to you.”
“Mmm-hmm,” I say
as my left hand teases my nipple and my other slowly moves, gliding
over my rib cage then to my hip.
“Don’t touch
yourself until I tell you,” he murmurs.
“What are you
doing?” I whisper.
“I’m…

DeterminismMY REVIEW
I fell in love with Cara and Abel in Determinism. While I liked Fatalism a lot, (review coming soon) I really loved Determinism. Both Cara and Abel had issues with relationships. Neither was ready for a commitment, but they could not be kept apart.
From the very beginning I found myself routing for Abel as he was pursuing Cara and seeming to get nowhere. He was so sexy and confident. Later on I found myself routing for Cara as she fell in love with Abel. The scenes between the two of them were HOT and STEAMY!
I can't wait to see what happens next in this series.
