I’m on the floor now, my clothes abandoned, and I whimper a little as his words caress me, making my nipples peak and my clit throb. I have absolutely no doubt he’s right. But enjoy is to mild a term. Whatever he has planned, I’m going to fucking love it.
“Roll over and get on your knees,” he demands as he unbuttons his shirt, then tosses it aside.
I do as he says, then look over my shoulder to see him, looking magnificent with his broad shoulders and tight abs. He’s strong and lean and hard, and there’s no question that he used to be an elite athlete. I don’t care about tennis at the moment, though. On the contrary, right then all I want to do is taste every delicious inch of him.
I loved Damien and Nikki's story, but I was a little reluctant to read Deepest Kiss because their story ended happily and I wasn't sure how J. Kenner could write more about them and keep my interest. I've read all of the books in the series of interwoven characters and I can now say that J. Kenner kept my interest throughout all.
Deepest Kiss is a short novella. It was a very quick read (I read it easily in one evening), but it had all the steam we've come to associate with Damien and Nikki's relationship. They were both still just as sexy and desperate for each other that they have been since the beginning. While we did hear a little bit more about Jackson and Sylvia (and some of the secondary characters) this book was another Damien and Nikki book. It was written from Nikki's point of view.
And there was a new plot twist. It wasn't just the same old, same old. There was a definite story and a good story.
So if you're looking for a quick, steamy read, and you've read the other books, then pick this one up. I give Deepest Kiss FOUR STARS!
